NPW Million Dollar Dinner

On January 25th, Mr. Larry Pacey, Tower Club Member and CEO of National Performance Warehouse, hosted a very special dinner. This black tie affair, honoring his "million dollar" vendors, was quite an example of a spectacular evening!

The event was held in the New River Room/Governor's Room, which is on the west side of the club. This room features a fantastic sunset and perfect views of the city and the New River. The even kicked off with flowing Dom Perignon and shrimp cocktail while hors d'oeuvres were passed. So, where else to put the shrimp cocktail but an ice sculpture?

 These lovely centerpieces set off the black table cloths and napkins perfectly!

Yes, that is a lot of silverware! Lots of courses! Only the best for the Million Dollar Dinner!

In case you are curious, the menu included:

Choice of Appetizer- French Onion Soup, Shrimp Cocktail, or Escargot
Salad Course- Caesar Salad
Intermezzo- Blood Orange Sorbet with Dom Perignon Champagne
Entree Course- Duet of Filet and Lobster
Dessert Course- Bananas Foster

For the upcoming years, honorees will be privledged to be on the Million Dollar Trophy. Here's a close up:

Sayles/Dick Wedding Reception

On November 3rd, the Tower Club hosted the wedding of Kristen Sayles to Adam Dick. This wedding was full of personal style. The decor and the club really became the look that the bride had envisioned: proof that this amazing 28th floor space is truley a blank canvas waiting for a bride's personalization.

For the cocktail hour, we used our Lounge as well as the East/West Board rooms. This is typical for weddings as it makes it easier for all guests if we have two bars available in slightly separate spaces.

 The bride used simple mason jars with sprigs of herbs for simple centerpieces during the cocktail hour. Later, her bridesmaids added their bouquets to the jars.

 By the way, have you seen our view?!

Over in the Main Dining Room, a neautral pallette of creams and pinks welcomed the guests.

These adorable personalized number cards indicated the table numbers.

I love it when tall and short centerpieces are mixed. These two floral arrangements by Victoria Park Flower Studio provided variety with elegance.

As a special surprise to their guests, the bride and groom enclosed a little piece of rosemary and a little thank you note.

The cake, provided by We Take the Cake (and enhanced by Victoria Park Flower Studio), was the perfect compliment to the rest of the room.

Sears/Wilkes Wedding Reception

On October 20th, the Tower Club hosted the Sears/Wilkes Wedding Reception in the Main Dining Room. As my first official wedding at the Tower Club, I was so pleased to have such a lovely to bride to work with and such a beautiful wedding to start my new chapter at the Tower Club. Check it out!

This is our amazing Main Dining Room! With its beautiful chandeliers, classic club style, and fantastic views, we like to think of ourselves as the best kept secret in Fort Lauderdale!

These fabulous florals provided by Victoria Park Flower Studio were perfect for the bride's purple and white color scheme!

For favors, the bride provided chocolate and Jordan Almonds for each of her guests.

We like to center the cake on the window with the best view. With stunning views of the Atlantic, this cake provided by We Take the Cake is even more of a masterpiece!

But that wasn't all for dessert! The bride chose to surprise her guests with our classic Vienesse Table dessert display. Yum!
